MNRF (Microneedling radiofrequency ) for scars and antiageing
As the name suggests, Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) is a combination of two techniques microneedling and radiofrequency. This technique aims to cause increased collagen production by using both mechanical as well as thermal energy . This technique helps in reducing scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines and open pores with no downtime at all.
Q. Which skin conditions can be treated with MNRF?

Q. How is the procedure done?
Before performing the procedure we apply numbing cream to the area to be treated for 30-45 minutes. We then use our best in class, FDA approved MNRF machine for the procedure. For scar and stretch mark reduction, we use noninsulated needles at a high energy of 2MHz, which cause mechanical and thermal injury to the epidermis and dermis up to a depth of 2.5-3mm. In response to this injury, new skin and collagen are produced, over a period of 6 weeks, which fill the pits and scars.
For reducing lines, wrinkles and overall skin tightening, we use insulated needles and perform the procedure after applying numbing cream for a sufficient period of time.
Q. What to expect post procedure?
Ans. Post the procedure, there can be mild redness which would subside in 3-5 days. Some exfoliation might be expected to occur from day 3-7. Regular use of moisturizer and sunscreen is recommended in this period.

Q. how many sittings of MNRF are recommended?
Depending upon the depth and severity of the condition, 3-6 sittings at 4-6 week intervals are recommended for best results. The procedure can be combined with chemical peels, lasers, etc depending upon the skin and requirements of the patient.
